– Reflection:
I haven’t ever experienced anyone chasing me, but I would like to think that I, too, could do as Joseph did in Genesis 10. He turned her down day after day; his master trusted him so much that he didn’t even check on him for any wrongdoings at all. Joseph was good and had his master’s and God’s purposes in him. It was the evil of the master’s wife that changed the way Joseph was going to live going forward. How many of us have had that happen to them? You did nothing to deserve the problems you are going through; they have been caused by someone else, yet you are the one doing the suffering for them. Be like Joseph and know that GOD has your back, and move through life without a care for what the world or anyone else thinks.
Where do we go from here?
Continuing serving GOD even when you have been wronged; GOD has your back and will take care of it in time. Remember, if you have allowed GOD to have the problem, leave it with him, you will only make matters worse trying to pick it up again and help GOD. He doesn’t need our help ever.
Our Prayer for Today
Father, thank you for blessing us today, and for those of us in the struggle through no fault of our own, we know that you have our backs. It is an absolute pleasure to know that as small as we are, you remember the number of hairs on each of our heads. With that ability, we know we will be just fine. Amen.
