God said to him, “I’ll be with you. Believe me, you’ll defeat Midian as one man.”

– Reflection:
God told Gideon I will allow you those 300 men to take over the Midiannites. A force any bigger and I cannot gain glory from that, the men need to know that I was there helping them in the battle. Gideon had over 32,000 men ready for battle and GOD had Gideon cut it all the way down to 300. Those 300 men went and took over Midian, that was a miracle battle that is still spoken about today. Having that blessing over a group of men to something as big as that is huge and GOD says “No Sweat”. I enjoy knowing that I server that kind of GOD.
Where do we go from here?
When you’re up against a challenge that’s much bigger than you can handle, but you don’t have to make it happen. You just stay in faith and God does it for you. The sickness seems stronger, the addiction seems permanent, the people against you are more powerful. God is saying, “I will be with you. You’re going to defeat it like you’re fighting one man.”
Our Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for Your promise to be with us in whatever we are up against. Thank You that we don’t have to strive or work to make it happen because You have put a ‘no sweat anointing’ on us. We believe that You will show out in our lives as we trust in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
